Solution 1: Own API Key (Pro Only)

Bring your own Anthropic API key. Connect it in Artifactor settings. Done.

How it works:

1. Get an API key from console.anthropic.com
2. Open Artifactor settings
3. Paste your key
4. Select "Own API Key" as your AI provider

Every Smart Export now goes directly through your Anthropic account. You pay Anthropic. We don't touch your key — it stays in your browser.

Cost: About $0.03-0.04 per export. A hundred exports costs roughly $3.50. Less than a coffee.

Limit: None. Export all day. Every day.

Quality: Best. You choose any Claude model — Haiku for speed, Sonnet for quality.

Solution 2: Ollama / Local LLM (Pro Only)

Don't want any data leaving your machine? Run a local LLM.

How it works:

1. Install Ollama (ollama.com)
2. Pull a model: ollama pull llama3
3. Open Artifactor settings
4. Enable Local LLM, point to localhost:11434

Export happens entirely on your hardware. No API calls. No internet. No cost.

Cost: Free. Your electricity, your GPU.

Limit: None. As fast as your hardware allows.

Quality: Depends on the model. Llama 3, Mistral, Gemma — all work. Larger models produce better documents. 8B parameters is the minimum for decent output.
